September Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor and Church,

We are thrilled and excited to be hosting our Official Launch Service this October 27th! Please forgive my delay in writing til the end of the month; we’ve been busy making preparations for getting 20,000 John and Romans into a two mile radius of homes in our community. As a matter of fact, we started early, getting a few hundred John and Romans out each weekend. We’ve gotten out nearly 500 as a family over the last couple of days. 

Please pray that God gives us good weather as we are going out every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, getting John and Romans out. Pray that the Lord will give us a great Sunday and that souls will be saved, lives changed. Pray that many will be able to help us reach this goal of 20,000 homes. I’m grateful for our sending church being a tremendous help with this effort. 

We wanted to do something a little more personal and special with our letter this month and I asked our daughters if they would write a small portion of this prayer letter. You get to hear the heart of my children and I got to hear it first hand. It’s one thing to serve together, its another to understand and see from their perspective. Continue to pray for our family, pray for us as we step out in faith and see God work as only God can. 

 

A LETTER FROM BROOKLYN

Dear Church,

My name is Brooklyn; I’m 14 years old. What I’ve enjoyed seeing is visitors come and some even join our church. 

One thing I am definitely looking forward to is the grand opening because I’m hoping a family will come with kids my age. 

When we were on deputation, our prayer was for a building. I didn’t think about the people much so I am glad to have willing and faithful members. 

 

A LETTER FROM ALEXIA

Dear Church,

My name is Alexia Deshauteurs; I am almost 12 years old. One  thing that I enjoy about ministry is seeing new families come in. It just gives me a burst of energy to welcome a new family to church!

But it’s not all fun. One challenge that I’ve faced is that I haven’t always been able to keep good friends or relationships with kids my age, with all the traveling we did on deputation. But I’m very happy to say that I have good friends now so you don’t need to worry about me. 

A big answer to prayer was God giving us a beautiful church building to meet in and families who attend the services. 

I am very excited for launch service! We’ve all pitched in to make it special for everyone who attends. Over all, I love my church and church family, the music, the fellowship, Sunday-school and nursery.
