Introducing Victory Baptist Church
We’re a brand new church in Mobile, Alabama. At Victory, you’ll find a group of people who believe in God’s love and want to share it with our community. Our goal is to be a place where everyone feels welcome, no matter who you are or where you come from.
We have uplifting worship services and friendly gatherings where you can make new friends. We’re excited to begin this journey of faith together and discover how God’s love can change our lives for the better.
Meet the Deshauteurs
I grew up on the coast, in Biloxi Mississippi, where my parents made sure my brothers and I had a church to teach us from God’s word. It was there that I heard the gospel message but pride would keep me from turning to Christ for quite some time. I was saved at the age of 18 and not long after, the Lord called me to preach. I’ve been involved in various aspects of ministry since that time. For just over ten years, I volunteered in Detention centers, preaching at least three to four times a week. As that ministry came to a close, God opened another door for me to serve as an Assistant Pastor in Gulfport, Mississippi. I served as the Youth Pastor there for five years.
God has called me and my family to the city of Mobile to help share the love of Jesus Christ in this community. Christ can make all the difference in a person’s life and we are excited to see this transpire many times over.
